BizPoint, an International Conference on One-Stop Shops, A2B and business support took place on the 15th February 2007 at the Santiago de Compostela Conference Centre (Galicia, Spain).
BizPoint is the third international event of its kind organised by the ICHNOS Project, being a meeting point open to discussion for heads of institutional, academic, entrepreneurial and business associations and other similar entities, regarding the simplification of processes necessary in the creation of small and medium enterprises, through a one-stop contact point –in accordance with the Bolkestein guideline-, as well as on-line communications between the Administration and the company (Administration to Business A2B) and or support and help for entrepreneursand companies: The main topics discussed in the conference are: - A2B (Administration to Business: Communications and services proveded by public administrations to enterprises

ICHNOS Project The European ICHNOS Project – Innovation and Change: Network of One-Stop Shops- starts from the premise that the implementation of onestopshops or single contact points in many regions, represent, a keyelement in local development.
Financed by INTERREGIIIC funds, this project was set up in March 2005 with the aim of defining an organisational model for Regional Authoritie sone-stop shops, with the possibility of being transferred to other regions, as well as making the most of ICT, thus simplifying the process of starting up a business, and make One-Stop Shops management easier.
